01 May 2008 - hyperCision's Sharon Newton presents at ASUG 2008 in Orlando

CHICAGO, IL - Sharon Wolf Newton, of hyperCision Inc., will be co-presenting at ASUG 2008, in Orlando, FL, on May 5, 2008. She and Gail Edington, of Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America, Inc. will discuss Takeda’s migration from Learning Solution 2.0 and upgrade to Learning Solution 6.0. Sharon was the Project Manager during the upgrade and Alex Churin of hyperCision was a key member of the migration team.

01 March 2008 - hyperCision's Sharon Newton presents at HR2008 in Orlando

CHICAGO, IL - Sharon Newton of hyperCision Inc. will be presenting at the HR2008 conference in Orlando, March 9 through March 13. Her presentations include ‘Leveraging the SAP Learning Solution to manage job required training’ and ‘An introduction to the SAP Learning Solution’s Authoring Environment’.  On Monday, March 10th at 2:45, she is participating in the panel discussion ‘60 Great Ideas in 60 Minutes: Words of SAP Wisdom from those who have been there, done that!’ She will also be available to answer questions at the Ask the Experts session on Monday, March 10 from 6:00 to 7:30pm, in the Exhibit Hall.

Sharon has supported four full cycle SAP Learning Solution implementations and supported multiple other customers in different phases of their implementations. This experience, in addition to ten years consulting with SAP America, brings with it a wealth of knowledge and experience in the SAP Learning Solution module.

01 March 2007 - hyperCision's Sharon Newton presents at HR2007 in Las Vegas

CHICAGO, IL - Sharon Newton of hyperCision Inc. will be presenting at the HR2007 conference in Las Vegas, March 12 through March 14. She will present 'A beginner's guide to the functionality, integration, and processes of SAP Training and Event Management' at 1pm on March 12 and 'Advanced tips and tricks to increase the usability and data quality of your SAP Training and Event Management applications' at 8:30am on March 14. She will also be available for questions at the Ask the Experts session on March 12 from 5:30 to 7pm in the Main Exhibit Hall.

29 September 2006 - hyperCision's Sharon Newton published in HRExpert

CHICAGO, IL - Sharon Newton of hyperCision Inc. was published in the August/September 2006 and November 2006 issues of HRExpert. Her 2-part article on planning and implementing the SAP Learning Solution provides an overview of the system functionality and a detailed look at what it takes to implement the tool.

17 October 2006 - - jMetra 1.2.5 released

CHICAGO, IL - hyperCision has announced a new release of jMetra. The release is a minor release focusing on increased performance and robustness.

22 January 2006 - Sharon W Newton joins hyperCision

CHICAGO, IL - Sharon W Newton, former National Hiring Manager for SAP America, has joined hyperCision. Prior to managing the hiring processes for the consulting organization at SAP America, Ms. Newton was a Platinum consultant and a recognized industry expert in the SAP Learning Solution and other Talent Resource Management processes. She brings 10+ years of consulting and management experience as well as SAP expertise to hyperCision.

10 September 2005 - jMetra 1.2.4 released

CHICAGO, IL - jMetra now supports the JDK 1.5 grammar. Logging has also been enhanced to identify specifics when syntax errors are identified in parsing java code. Several beta bugs have been resolved relating to parsing of files with commented at the end of source files.

CHICAGO, IL - jMetra 1.2.3 has been enhanced to generate metrics docs which provide increased flexibility in how data is displayed. It's an example of hyperCision's continued commitment to evolving jMetra as its user-base expands.

22 Nov 2004 - FIXML Initiative Announced

CHICAGO, IL - hyperCision has announced an initiative to provide FIXML testing and certification systems by Q3 2005. Fast evolution within the FIXML standard has created immediate need for tools to assist clearing firms when architecting new solutions that leverage FIXML. "Clearing Firms are excited about the FIXML standard but the overhead of keeping up with a quickly evolving standard can drain IT resources. Firms are looking for tools to help expedite the implementation and testing of new FIXML functionality. hyperCision will provide our partners with a suite of FIXML certification and testing tools so they can be confident about their transition to FIXML. 10 May 2004 - jMetra 1.2.2 released

CHICAGO, IL - jMetra 1.2.2 has been enhanced to generate metrics docs which can be configured to display changes in code metrics over arbitrary points in a project. This allows changes in metrics to be tracked on a per milestone basis.

20 May 2003 - jMetra 1.2 released

CHICAGO, IL - jMetra 1.2 metrics documentation generation has been enhanced to provide easy customization via template files and cascading style sheets (css). Old or deleted code is now marked as such in the generated jMetraDoc. Tighter logging is now provided, both for use within Ant and via command line. Run aggregation and documentation generation using jMetra 1.2 on data collected using any past jMetra version and take advantage of the new functionalities! 25 January 2003 - jMetra 1.1.3 released

CHICAGO, IL - jMetra 1.1.3 supports JDK1.4 syntax additions and fixes problems observed during processing of java files ending with comments. Additionally, metrics are only collected for directories under source roots that have java files. This is particularly helpful for CVS users. For a complete list of changes see release information .
